MMERSION: THE VOICE OF WOMEN’S SURFING
Immersion Surf Magazine was born from a meeting between two women with a passion for surfing and the realization that something was missing from the scene - a women’s surf magazine with a commitment to high-quality content and images.
Midway between a magazine and a book, Immersion is designed as a timeless, unique and aesthetically-pleasing collector’s item, tackling a variety of subjects connected to women’s surfing.
Its independent editorial line is based on three fundamental pillars:
- - A dedicated and authentic approach to women's surfing;
- - The desire to share high-quality content;
- - A commitment to promoting respect for the environment and the preservation of our oceans.
Within its pages, the reader-explorer is invited to discover women's surf culture through their unique experiences, travel diaries, technical briefs and photos...
A number of passionate, independent, international contributors have helped put together this first edition of Immersion, demonstrating the generosity we all believe to be at the heart of surfing.
In the spirit of community, Immersion is published in a bilingual (French/English) format and designed to appeal to all those that love the ocean.
Characteristics of the print magazine:
- Printed in France.
- A4 format.
- Soft-touch, perfect bound cover.
- 150-200 pages.
Who are we?
We have one passion - surfing!
We got our first taste, went back and now we’re addicted…
As is often the case, our project was born from shared values:
- We love the beauty of photography as much as the beauty of writing.
- We love walking through pine forests, hearing their dry spines crack under our feet as much as we love travelling to the other side of the world.
- And in the water, we love gentle elegance as much as mind-blowing performance...
We are the two women behind the magazine, two women with the same aim, two friends full of ideas and plans, two lovers of the ocean – two women from Bordeaux!

IMMERSION is born from our passion for surfing, our interests and sensibilities and the simple desire to share them.
What's the money for?
The money raised here will be used to print the first paper edition of the magazine and to give us with a kick-start...
Donations are collected in the form of presales of the magazine, which will help us make a more accurate estimate of how many copies to print.
If we go over our target, the adventure will only get better and we'll be able to start preparing the 2nd edition!
An African proverb says, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." We want you to come with us on this great adventure.
