Aware of the low recycling rate of plastics, particularly household plastics, Adaoz * Wave ** was created to do its part.
The ADAOZ* WAVE surf fins are the first fins 100% designed and made in French Basque Country, where the surf is born in Europe.
Those fins are made of recycled polypropylen based on 100% post consumer waste without any fiber added. That means that the fins are also recyclable in the same circuit as your household waste. Indeed, if you ever break a fin, you can just throw it in your yellow trash so it can be recycled again.
In order to be adapted to a maximum range of surfboards, it will be compatible FCS1 and Future system.
But, what is exactly polypropylen ?
Here is some example of product made of polypropylen you can see in you daily life :
Plastic tableware, reusable food containers, water bottles, butter or margarine packaging, yoghurt pots, straws, bumpers, toys.
A great work has been done in order to get attractive colors directly during manufacturing.

Who are we?
Bastien Mével, 31 ans
Engineer specialized in plastic and composite materials, I also have a master's degree in Marine Renewable Energy.
Surf passionate since 20 years, I wanted to use my technical background to associate my passion and my needs to do my part for the environnement.
Convinced that, more you have opportunities proposed to the recycling industry, more it will be developped, I created Adaoz Wave.
What's the money for?
The collect will be used as presale. It will allow me to adjust the amount of fins to be produced.
Participating to this projet is also a way for you to be implied in its success !
This collect will be used to develop a eco-packaging that will allow the fins to be proposed in your favorite surfshop.
Also, this will allow me to create a webshop so you and your friends will be able to purchase new fins once the collect is over.

Bastien est le porteur d'un super projet ! J'ai pu tester ses dérives lors d'une session de surf, et faire mes premiers bottom avec des ailerons éco-responsables. La construction est solide, les dérives se fixent sans problème à la planche, et les sensations sont au rendez-vous !

Absolute Stark Eco Rider with PHENO technology
Welcome in the Adaoz Wave Family !! This unique offer allows you to receive a wonderful Stark Surfboard between 6 and 7 feet with PHENO technology and equipped with Adaoz Wave Fins ! The new PHENO technology consists of replacing the wooden slat with several carbon tubes, directly inserted into the polystyrene foam bar, at the time of manufacture. The board is then glazed with fiberglass and epoxy resin. This new manufacturing technique makes it possible to obtain a finished product that is much lighter than a "traditional" board and above all more reactive in the waves.
